What would you pay to have your business's name on over 1000 moving billboards? That is what your sponsorship of Trail Run Events races can get you! Not only can you get your company name on our race t-shirt, you get your company name listed in two places on our event web site, your business banner displayed at our event, and advertising through our coveted race "Swag" Program. You get to put coupons, business cards, flyers, whatever you want to promote your business in the race package that each runner/walker receives. Trail Run Events has been a supporter and major donor to the New Basin Blues High School Cross Country Fund since its conception in 2002. This worthy charity provides running mentorship and free custom fitted running shoes to local high school cross country students at the beginning of their season each year. You may be aware that the sport of running does not tend to receive the greatest amount of funding from our school dollars so we try to do our part to teach youth that "running is cool" and can benefit them even into their adult years! Below is an outline of the sponsorship levels for Trail Run Events. In return for your financial and product sponsorship, we offer you recognition and propmtion at Southern California's most prestigious trail races. Our races attract large numbers of competitors from the San Fernando Valley, Greater Los Angeles, Santa Clarita Valley, Simi Valley and even San Diego, Palm Springs and Santa Barbara. We have participants from around the country and international athletes as well.
Our races are advertised at the national level through Runner's World Magazine and on their web site www.runnersworld.com, on Road Runners Club of America website as Series Championship Races www.rrca.org, and on the New Basin Blues Running Club website www.newbasinblues.org. Additionally Trail Run Events are advertised on more than 60 online and print race calendars including but not limited to Race Place Magazine, Competitor Magazine and USA Track & Field.

OUR EVENTS
VALLEY CREST HALF MARATHON: "The Friendliest Race in L.A."; a hilly, mountain trail half-marathon on dirt Mulholland in the Santa Monica Mountains that treats runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley. This event attracts elite runners as well as new trail runners! The race is held in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. The course is entirely on county-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles. The Valley Crest Half Marathon is a Road Runners Club of America State Championship Race.

Sponsors are encouraged to provide advertisements or coupons good for their business; even pens, pencils, or water bottles or other promotional item if you chose to promote your business that way. All finishers receive a customized Finisher Medal. Trophies and cash awards go to the overall men and women's winners. The top three finishers in each age group category receive awards and Sponsor donated gifts. |
BULLDOG 50K ULTRA RUN & 25K TRAIL RUN: The challenging and popular Bulldog runs consist of two races - the 50K Ultra Run and the 25K Trail Run, which are conducted simultaneously. Come join us and run in the beautiful scenic Santa Monica Mountains recreational area for the "original" Bulldog Trail Runs beginning at our base camp in Malibu Creek State Park, Malibu California. 20th Anniversary! The Bulldog 50K is a Road Runners Club of America Regional Championship Race.

WEIGHT WATCHERS WALK-IT DAY 5K: Celebrating the completion of the Weight Watchers® Walk-It Challenge, participants will complete a noncompetitive 5K walk presented by The UltraLadies Running Club, Trail Run Events, RRCA, and Weight Watchers® in beautiful Lake Balboa, Encino, CA. A pot-luck picnic will follow the walk.

NEW FOR 2012: Trail Run Events is also in the planning stage for two new events for 2012 including the Ahmanson of a Gun 7-Mile Trail Run in March and the Fool Moon 12/24 Hour Runs in April.
