2011 is the 10th Anniversary of the Valley Crest Half Marathon!
A hilly mountain half-marathon on historic Mulholland fire road will treat runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley. The race is held in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. The course is entirely on county-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles. The Valley Crest Half-Marathon is an RRCA Championship Race.Prize Purse to Top Three Males/Females Overall, as follows:
Awards & Sponsor Gifts three deep in 5-year male/female age divisions.
Sponsor-donated prizes will also be raffled during the awards ceremony immediately following the race. The Valley Crest Half-Marathon benefits a number of charitable and non-profit entities.
